Goes on easily, dries well. Very pleased. I use it on furniture, trinket boxes etc. Been a furniture maker for 40 years plus. Good product.
Excellent customer service... product delivered quickly to Northern Ireland and arrived very carefully packaged.
Used to remove deep rust stains in cedar panelling caused by its fixing nails. This product worked extremely well leaving wood surfaces significantly improved. Once sanded & Danish oiled, staining almost unnoticeable and revitalised expensive panelling which otherwise would have had to have been replaced, so very happy with the outcome.
Loved using the polish on my new Kitchen table and chairs, and they now look gorgeous. So pleased with your products and guide on how to use.

I did initially hesitate because of the price, but having completed the project and seen the results, I'm a convert. I have other little projects I've had in mind, and I'll definitely be using `Gilboys again. My next project will require oxalic acid, and I never really felt confident enough to attempt it. But I'm ready now!

I have been doing woodwork since I was 14, I am now 93 and a half and in all my years of woodworking this is one of the best, if not the best wax oil I have every used. Fantastic product. It produces a fabulous deep shine within a couple of coats. The box in the picture is english oak I just do the odd bits and pieces nowadays to keep myself occupied. Thank you very much. The honey is delicious as well and the packaging is second to none I wish you all the success in the future.
Came up brilliantly - the only snag is I should’ve ordered a large pot of beeswax. The wire wool wasn’t enough, ran out.
Would recommend this to family and friends.

Having watched Simon’s YouTube videos I attempted to strip and refinish our Ercol dining table. I had never done this sort of thing so I called Simon's workshop and he talked me through the process. His advice was spot on and the hard wax oil worked a treat.

Gilboys came up trumps again with their excellent products and service on my latest order. I was working to restore my 1970's teak veneer dining table, using Gilboys youtube video as a guide. I am delighted with the results and we are happy to have the table uncovered again. I used the same products on an old coffee table which is also now splendid again. Cannot recommend Gilboys enough.

Brilliant and helpful owner. Just rewaxed my C17th coffer today after cutting back the old wax and what an amazing polish. It is an absolute joy to use and it leaves a finish like glass. Can very highly recommend this company and its products. Watch the instructional videos on YouTube too!
Used this wire wool for the first time to treat 10 Victorian dining chairs and our beautiful Victorian table. It is very easy to use with good quality polish and the chairs and table look wonderful. So we are very pleased with this find and will certainly use more when we come to treat our other furniture.
I had superb advice from Simon Gilboy re renovating my late mother’s bureau. He gave me the confidence to get stuck in and not to worry. The result is just amazing - it looks like a nice antique piece of furniture now. Loved the wax and the little repair cubes were excellent at filling wood worn holes. I recommend Gilboy’s products and will be returning there myself when I run out.
