Excellent product, used up previous tin so replenishing my stock. I have tried many polishes and although this is the most expensive it is by far the best and lasts for a very long time.
Only small disappointment is that the previous litre tins used to be delivered with wire wool, depends, cloth and a square of hard wax which I found very useful and by far the best you can get.
I absolutely love my 'Pure Gold' polishing kit. It's apparent that alot of care and experience went into the whole process from conception to packaging. I have just finished stripping and renovating my front door and the finish is amazing! The wood grain is so smooth and almost 3 dimensional in appearance. The condition of the mahogany has vastly improved from its previously dry state to an enriched and tighter looking density.

I found the polishing starter kit excellent value and packaged very nicely. There was a message and sunflower seeds as well which I thought was a lovely personal touch. I have only used the rose gold polish. I reupholstered my daughters dining chairs and I felt that the wood needed some TLC...The polish was just what it needed, it hid some of the blemishes and really buffed up so nice, which finished them off lovely. I would highly recommend this product to family and friends. I am going to polish my own table and chairs with the antique wax.
Fantastic furniture polish. I don't have any antiques, just plain old solid oak furniture that is approximately 30years old and in desperate need of some TLC. I sanded the top of the chest of drawers as lots of things had been spilled on it over the years, then applied a bit of oil to nourish the wood then the next day applied Gilboys wax in clear, as per their instructions. It looks like I have a new set of drawers. The finish is beautiful, the wood grain really shines through and the finish is beautifully smooth with a satin like finish. Just beautiful. On to the rest of this piece then there's the wardrobe, so looking forward to the improvement in these pieces. And I nearly replaced them as they were in such a bad way, but this wax has saved me a fortune.
Unsure of what to use on a leather handbag I contacted Gillboys. I received a prompt reply with good advice. Used the Beeswax Balsam Conditioner as recommended and now I have a smart looking handbag
I was commissioned to re finish a 22ft Victorian dining table. The table was heavily French Polished. The polish was so thick and opaque the grain was barely visible. After spending 5 hours stripping which was back breaking work. I then soaked in meths. Sanded and finished with 150. I stained the original D ends and 1 original leaf (Cuban Mahogany) in a brown mahogany LF stain. The remaining leaves were newer and of inferior quality. These needed more attention. I left the stain overnight. I applied a coat of oil using the rag supplied which was a great product. I needed to tint the oil to darken the newer leaves. These needed more depth the tinted oil worked well. I gave the top a 320 de nib. Then applied another clear natural top coat. The table looked fantastic. A beautiful Sheen. I was going to apply some wax . But I decided the table looked good as it was. Brilliant product I am using it again. The lint free rag was brilliant and I should have bought 2.
I first used it on a kitchen floor to replace some weird gunk put down before that had worn away in heavy traffic areas. I applied the hard wax oil, which is very easy to apply, just rub it in. Over two years later the hard wax oil finish still looks good.
I'm about to do another floor and expect it will come out well.

Couldn't be happier with the outcome on the American Black Walnut veneer aboard a Singer table.
I applied multiple layers and took the lazy man's route of a woollen pad on a drill to buff (checked for heat as I went, there was not a hint of it)
The outcome was absolutely stunning and much more sympathetic to the grain than the original glassy shellac. I am chuffed with the result.
After watching videos and chatting over the chatbox I decided to order, to polish my treasured rosewood dining table, chairs and sideboard. The result just on the table is super. However, the work that went in to polishing it was huge! I recently had a new thumb joint, and had i have known the effort it took to polish the wax off, I would have delayed the job by a few months. I applied the wax, and left it for 25mins before polishing it off, the polishing took almost 4 hours to complete, I even brought a hairdryer down to try to re-warm the wax to ease the buffing!! I haven't attempted the sideboard or the chairs yet, I think I may have to do those in smaller stages.
Having bounced around the internet for help with my restoration project, I found your videos and you're down to earth, straight forward tips on how to restore for the best results. Not only that, but you help to provide the very things needed to do it! Everything offered is environmentally friendly and packaged. It's certainly hard work getting the old finishes off, but with your guidance, I'm absolutely loving this project, and know that my old mid-century item is loving the products I'm using. This polish has simply transformed my pine dining table. The table was a scratched, blotchy mess. After a very helpful online chat, I used oxalic acid to lift some of the stains and applied 2 coats of the wax. What a transformation. I highly recommend.
Used to refurbish an antique coffee, the results we absolutely stunning. I didn’t know it was mahogany , it just looked like cheap wood beforehand.
