HOW TO POLISH WITH BEESWAX

  1. Use the ultra-soft steel wire wool to apply
  2. With gentle pressure spread the polish evenly over the surface in the direction of the grain, being careful not to over apply and avoid any upholstered areas. Once applied the surface area should look matt in appearance
  3. Allow the pure pine turpentine to completely evaporate and the wax to harden for 20-30 minutes
  4. Use the open-weave cotton to gently buff the wax to your desired level of shine without smearing

Weekly furniture maintenance of removing dust can be done by simply using a slightly damp cloth and drying if needed with a clean dry cloth - beeswax polish will protect the surface for a very long time.

If you have a larger surface like the side of a chest of drawers or the top of a dining table apply the beeswax more evenly by dabbing the surface all over with small amounts of polish and then wipe in the direction of the grain to spread the wax evenly.

*SECRET TRADE TIP:

For carved relief areas such as an antique coffer, you can also apply beeswax furniture polish with a cheap 1 inch trimmed paint brush. It makes applying the beeswax much easier and allows the polish to get right into those dusty and hard to reach areas. Buff it 20 to 30 minutes later with the soft shoe brush and buffing cloth.

I have used the clear polish. Beautiful smooth lustre with beautiful smell. I purchased the rose gold wax kit as a Christmas gift so can’t comment yet except to say it’s beautifully packaged and I anticipate will be of excellent quality.

    Lovely result

Hi Simon, I watched your G-Plan restoration "how to" video on Youtube and then bought the hardwax oil and rose gold beeswax polish to have a go myself. Followed the video instructions at each stage and have just finished. Great result - my parents' first piece of furniture now in our living room and looking great. Many thanks for the fantastic instructions, enthusiasm and lovely products.

Rose Gold Polishing Kit - Teak Table Restoration

The first thing you notice about the delivery from Gilboys, is the packaging! it is excellent.
When you open the package and its all there ready to start work.
I followed the Gilboys process for restoring mid century furniture (strip, clean, polish and buff).
I used 3 coats of Rose Gold over a period of 3 days to get the depth of shine i prefer on my finished items.
So therefore I can conlude that I am very pleased with my purchases from GILBOYS

The Rose Gold Beeswax polish made a big difference to my 1970s teak dining table. It now has a beautiful shine. I was so pleased I polished the rest of my furniture and it is all looking great.

    Nice product

On the picture you see my grandfather's business desk. The right side of the desk is polished with Gilboy's wax. Notice the feet on the left side before they received the wax. Stark difference!
