Perfect if you have one prize piece of wooden furniture or have two or three pieces of different types of wood.
Ideal for anyone who would like to polish a single piece of furniture but may be unsure which shade to buy.
We have ensured there is enough in each tin to cover a single piece of furniture (depending on the absorption rate of the wood) such as dining table, gate-leg table, bureau, chest of drawers, or four to six dining chairs.
If you would like to try your hand at beeswax polishing using the products professional restorers use, this kit is a great starting point.
Our beeswax furniture polish is made in the UK from the highest quality natural waxes we can source and is specially formulated to bring old furniture back to life:
Our commitment to preserving the natural beauty of your wooden furniture has led us to improve our beeswax polish formula by incorporating a UV absorber. This addition has been scientifically proven to significantly lessen the harmful effects of UV radiation from direct sunlight on wooden surfaces.
By integrating a UV absorber into our trusted beeswax polish formula, we provide additional protection that absorbs even more of the harmful UV rays before they can damage the wood or its finish. This advanced protection is especially crucial for pieces exposed to direct sunlight, helping to greatly reduce discolouration and extend the life of your furniture.
While it does not block all UV rays entirely, it acts as a crucial additional barrier, extending the life of your furniture and keeping its colour and finish vibrant.
Weekly furniture maintenance of removing dust can be done by simply using a slightly damp cloth and drying if needed with a clean dry cloth - beeswax polish will protect the surface for a very long time.
If you have a larger surface like the side of a chest of drawers or the top of a dining table apply the beeswax more evenly by dabbing the surface all over with small amounts of polish, then wipe in the direction of the grain to spread the wax evenly.
For carved relief areas such as an antique coffer, you can also apply beeswax furniture polish with a cheap 1 inch trimmed paint brush. It makes applying the beeswax much easier and allows the polish to get right into those dusty and hard to reach areas. Buff it when completely dry with a soft shoe brush and buffing cloth.
Easy to use and the results are really impressive
Easy to use and tremendous results!
After watching the you tube instructionals I took the plunge and bought the starter set of three waxes. My aim to give a bit of life back to some mahogany and oak furniture I'm selling.
The results are magnificent, the wax is easy to apply, smells great and a gentle buff later really brings out the grain and puts a lovely soft sheen on the wood.
Glad I bought the three different shades used them all now on various pieces.
Totally recommend you clean the wood you are working on first for best results now they look fab and ready to move onto new homes.
Cheers folks for coming up with such an easy to use product will be back when it runs out.
Cheers
Simon.
A very good product, I have tried it on various timbers and all the range works extremely well. I will be using it all the time now
I have used the rose gold from the pack on 4 Georgian fruitwood chairs. I used the wax after giving the chairs a good clean and there was plenty to cover the four. The results were amazing. I was worried that I had been a bit over zealous with my cleaning but once the wax went on and was buffed they looked gorgeous. The wax was lovely to use and the chairs look like proper bobby dazzlers now. I am really pleased with the product and the starter pack was perfect for my needs. I would absolutely recommend this product.
Such great service, staff so helpful & goods arrived the following day.
I was recommended this polish by a colleague & have to say it’s great.
After watching videos of the polish making process and your passion for making fine beeswax based polishes for furniture, I was delighted to receive your starter pack. I have experimented with making beeswax and turpentine polishes myself and hope I recognise quality when I see it. I look forward to restoring some very parched oak pieces with your polish and will report back when results are in.
