Pure Gold is a clear beeswax polish ideal for Ash, Beech, Maple, Light Oak and Pine.
Rose Gold is a medium shade beeswax polish specially formulated for use on Rosewood, Teak, Light Mahogany, Cherry, and Honey Oak furniture, G-Plan, Nathan, Mcintosh and all Mid Century Teak furniture or similar coloured woods.

This beeswax furniture polishing kit contains everything you need to polish and protect the finish of your wood furniture:

- 125ml jar of 'pure gold' beeswax furniture polish (will cover approximately 12m² or five to six standard size dining tables)
- 125ml jar of 'rose gold' beeswax furniture polish
- 1.2 metres of our antique restorers' recommended 0000 oil-free wire wool for perfect application
- 2 large lengths of our antique restorers' recommended 100% cotton open-weave polishing cloth for easier buffing with no streaking
- 2 beeswax scratch repair cubes (colour-matched to your polishes) for filling dents, deep scratches and cracks before polishing

Our beeswax furniture polish is made in our own UK workshop using the highest quality natural waxes to bring out the shine and protect fine antique furniture:

We have developed our beeswax furniture polish to such a fine blend that you don't necessarily have to polish again for at least a year and possibly up to three years.
IMPROVED UV PROTECTION
Our commitment to preserving the natural beauty of your wooden furniture has led us to improve our beeswax polish formula by incorporating a UV absorber. This addition has been scientifically proven to significantly lessen the harmful effects of UV radiation from direct sunlight on wooden surfaces.
By integrating a UV absorber into our trusted beeswax polish formula, we provide additional protection that absorbs even more of the harmful UV rays before they can damage the wood or its finish. This advanced protection is especially crucial for pieces exposed to direct sunlight, helping to greatly reduce discolouration and extend the life of your furniture.
While it does not block all UV rays entirely, it acts as a crucial additional barrier, extending the life of your furniture and keeping its colour and finish vibrant.

I have a lot of medium oak furniture and this polish is brilliant for bringing out the grain and giving it a wonderful shine.
This mid century Bureau looked like it had a hard life when i purchased it. After all the cleaning, joinery repairs and adjustment it was time to get some oil on.
The Gilboys wax oil was a dream to work with. As a carpenter & joiner I have used many well know products over 25+ years.
Right from the tin you could tell this was good quality. It was really easy to apply with a cloth and absorbed well, smells amazing! The original veneer came back to life instantly.
This piece needed 3 coat and dried as I hoped. Next I used the Rose Gold wax which added vintage tones and a super finish.
I did contact Gilboys about drying times, Simon was super helpful and friendly.

After deciding to restore some 1960's Austrlaian modernis furniture, I jumped onto Youtube to learn what to do. I came across Simon's Youtube vids and I was sold! Ordered the sealing wax and the polishing wax, and I cannot believe just how amazing the timber on the chairs have come up! And talk about easy to use! I feel like restoring everything! The rose gold wax really bought the wood on a very tired midcentury chair back to life. This is such a lovely product, easy to use, it smells great and gives such good results. All that AND it was beautifully packaged.
Bought this to renovate a second hand G plan extendable table. Extension panel was a lot darker than the rest of the table. Used clear on the panel and rose gold on the rest of the table and it has really helped to balance out the colour. Lots of small dinks and patches also hardly visible now.. This was just with waxing; I did not sand down the original at all. Am now eying up the rest of my furniture to see what I can do with this gorgeous stuff.
I am really impressed with the beeswax polishing kit I received. It's made my haggard wooden furniture look much better and I'm amazed at how easy it is to use. Will buy more in the future, Gilboy's provide a great service and live the youtube videos.
