'Madeleine' is a 1920's period French Chandelier bearing the mark Sabino, Paris.

Marius Sabino was renowned for his work with electric light and its relationship with glass forms, gaining fame for his Art Deco glass work from his factory in France.

'Madeleine' is rare, she has a naturally dark patonised cage design frame with six peripheral lamps with one further upturned lamp inside the cage. She has tier rings at the top of the cage and a further tier above forming the crown. Some of her many pendalogues have a darker grey and amber-gold hue adding to her appeal.  An internal dagger and a clear ball underneath add to this chandeliers appeal.
