I've been restoring a Victorian oak dinning table and after watching Simon’s youtube video I decided to try the hard wax oil - and I'm so glad I did. So simple to apply and to clean up I've used 3 coats as the oak was in desperately in need of nourishment. A beautiful satin finish. Thank you will definitely use again on other projects.

Thank you so much for all the wonderful information on YouTube that has assisted my first attempt at restoring an old pub stool that belonged to my great grandad. The final finish with your hard wood oil was just perfect. I never realised how beautiful the stool was having only known it painted a hideous brown. I haven’t got a before photo but have a WIP one and a final one. The pub table is next and a pine kitchen table where I’ll try out the bees wax. A great product, lots on great online advice.

I have early 18 century furniture and so far so good.

I am using RoseGold wax to renovate my husbands 1970s teak ladderax shelving so our son can use it in his first flat.
Not finished yet as it was very mucky having been used in a workshop then up the loft for many years.
I’m slowly working my way through the shelves and cabinets cleaning, repairing and waxing as I go..
The rose gold wax is adding a wonderful lustre which brings the wood alive without making it shiny

Used the hard wax and pure wax the coffee table now looks amazing really pleased with the finish, thank you Simon for the advice. Next project our ercol dining table, the products are easy to use and are superb.

The response to my question was prompt as was the delivery of the oil.
The packaging was beautiful, very well presented however I haven’t been able to use the product yet so can’t comment.

I used Gilboy’s Hard Wax Oil for the first time on unfinished Oak Cabinets. It’s the only product I used on them and they turned out GORGEOUS!! Easy to use, non toxic, unique finish without having to stain! I’m a can for life.
