Very pleased with purchase. Liked having it all together with clear instructions as to which wood each polish was right for and how to go about it.
I was pleased with results. On my mahogany bureau there was some rubbing around the key openings etc. Is there anything I could use to improve that.

Used on a pine cabinet that had water stain damage/ After thoroughly sanding back the unit, applied the wax with a cloth and it looks great and feels great as well.

This is just the job to protect your clothing, wood shavings do not cling to it, so easy to clean off after working on the lath. It is also easy to put on - my old one collected all the dust and was like being rapped up like a mummy.

Bought Polishing Starter Kit and Hard Wax Oil to freshen up our dining table. After watching some of the very helpful videos have given it a go and pleased with results. It took a little bit of trial and error to build confidence to fix a few minor issues with the condition of the table but certainly the products did their job well. It was lovely to see the thought that went into producing the kit.

Used it to restore an old pine table. Absolutely brilliant, highly recommend the YouTube channel as well for hints.

I followed the video posted to YouTube and had wonderful results restoring a camphor trunk with this kit and some oil based stain.

I purchased this kit for a family member just discovering the joys of woodworking. As it’s a Christmas present I can’t provide any other details except that the starter kit arrived in Australia so promptly it was a pleasure to buy from Gilboys

This is by far and away the best wax polish that I have ever used. I have tried many different brands and even dabbled a little in making my own; however, nothing has ever come close to this. It applies easily and smoothly and buffs to a wonderfully deep shine. I have spent a very enjoyable 2 weeks refreshing and refinishing our furniture and this has been a pleasure to use.

Would I recommend that you use it? An absolute and unequivocal yes!!

This product is amazing. We have original fireplaces, staircases and doors all in the original oak and teak wood. The wax has given them a beautiful shine. Really easy to use with great results.

Having used this I would not now willingly use anything else.

For years i have used Osmo hard wax oil for renewal and restoration. After watching one of Gilboys videos, I decided to try Gilboys hard wax oil. I have a treasured cocktail cabinet that I clean and oil once in a while and this year I used the Gilboys hard wax oil. I am so impressed with this oil. Simple to use. Applies beautifully and the finish(clear satin) is superb. My go to hard wax oil in future.

The polish worked beautifully! And the customer service was beyond anything I’ve ever experienced. Will definitely be ordering more once I’m out.
