By integrating a UV absorber into our trusted beeswax polish formula, we provide additional protection that absorbs even more of the harmful UV rays before they can damage the wood or its finish. This advanced protection is especially crucial for pieces exposed to direct sunlight, helping to greatly reduce discolouration and extend the life of your furniture.
While it does not block all UV rays entirely, it acts as a crucial additional barrier, extending the life of your furniture and keeping its colour and finish vibrant.
Environmental preservation is very important to us and we make every effort to ensure our products have a minimal impact on the environment:
Weekly furniture maintenance of removing dust can be done by simply using a slightly damp cloth and drying if needed with a clean dry cloth - beeswax polish will protect the surface for a very long time.
If you have a larger surface like the side of a chest of drawers or the top of a dining table apply the beeswax more evenly by dabbing the surface all over with small amounts of polish, then wipe in the direction of the grain to spread the wax evenly.
For carved relief areas such as an antique coffer, you can also apply beeswax furniture polish with a cheap 1 inch trimmed paint brush. It makes applying the beeswax much easier and allows the polish to get right into those dusty and hard to reach areas. Buff it when completely dry with a soft shoe brush and buffing cloth.

I’d bought and used this polish before and it was good - but using it with 0000 steel wool makes a HUGE difference and having that included in the kit was good confirmation that this is the way to go,

I order this wax for the restoration of a more-than-hundred years old cabinet from one of the oldest pharmacies in Lisbon. I wanted to preserve the original finish and polish it with beeswax . The result was beyond my expectations (everything, the beeswax, the cotton cloth) and now I'm hooked: I want it for all my projects! The package is carefully done, arrived quickly and as a plus, just saw in the ingredients list that this extreme quality beeswax is made with Portuguese Pure Pine Gum Spirits of Turpentine :)

Brilliant for my 400 year old table
I bought the kit to refurbish an antique clock and so pleaded with the result. The timber before looked tired and dry but now looks great.
Our daughter’s table had been in the sun for a few years . We recommended your polish and with this has restored the two faded leaves beautifully and made all three parts shine . The faded leaves look nourished and their colour restored . An excellent result !!
Watched Simons video on refinishing Ercol coffee table, it gave me confidence to refinish the one we had. I had superb advice from Simon Gilboy re renovating my late mother’s bureau. He gave me the confidence to get stuck in and not to worry. The result is just amazing - it looks like a nice antique piece of furniture now. Loved the wax and the little repair cubes were excellent at filling wood worn holes.
