Really pleased with results using beeswax repair blocks to help finish moulding repairs and overall finish to base doors, ps love watching the YouTube tutorials Simon!

I have used for this project beewax and antique waxing after striping old paint and also upholstered.

I discovered Gilboy’s after watching some of the great YouTube videos and purchased the wax repair blocks from the shop.

The chair in the photos had a large split in the seat that was easy to fill using the dark block and following the instructions in the video. Although you can see the repair in the enlarged close-up photograph it is hardly noticeable after polishing. I used a candle to heat the block, but it is worth mentioning that this is not suitable for the pale-coloured block as it leaves a dark residue in the melting wax. I used a butane lighter to melt the pale block to avoid this happening.

I was amused to see that these come nicely wrapped and look like a present of three delicious fancy dark, milk and white chocolates!

I came across the YouTube videos for Gilboys when looking into how to restore my eBay find mahogany boat table. The original finish was Shellac. There was some water damage and quite a few deep scratches , and some holes. These wax cubes have filled scratches, holes and provided a protective layer to the inlay, which otherwise discoloured from varnish. I would have loved to French polish this, but it is going back into a boat, which would not be kind to a French Polish, so varnish it was. The table does not look like new- that was never the intention, but I am very pleased with the way it turned out. I have enjoyed the videos and the cubes are fab. ( I think I might have to look out for something on eBay to French polish anyway just so I can use more of Gilboys products.

I used the scratch repair cubes and the rose gold premium beeswax. I had previously waxed the chairs with an ordinary furniture wax, but wasn't happy with them.
Attached are photos of two of them. I have cleaned, reupholstered and waxed all six of them.
I am now absolutely delighted with the result. The improvement due to your products was significant.

The products are gorgeous, top quality and so beautifully presented! The attention and care are obvious - I was just blown away. Simon gave me step by step instructions and links to tutorial videos. I used the antique gold wax and beeswax cubes on the table and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. Next step is to fix the hinges! HUGE Gilboy's fan here in California.

Well, after following one of your how-to videos on restoring teak furniture I decided that I would have a go and see what I could do with our teak dining table that we have had for 40 years. Whilst not in too bad a state it did have a water ring mark that was really annoying and generally in need of a little TLC.

I used Liberon as the furniture stripper, but have say that it didn’t perform anywhere near the way yours did.
The only way that I could strip the surface was by applying a small amount and then using wire wool to take the surface off – quite hard work but did the job.
After sanding and cleaning I used a couple of coats of Osmo oil on the top of the table which worked well. There were a couple of small dents which I filled with the gold scratch repair cube which worked very well. I finished off with your Rose gold beeswax polish and 0000 wire wool and it looks as good as new. I will probably give the table another polish in several months time.

Lovely products and easy to use

I found a deep scratch on one of my arm chair arms. I found a video on Utube on how to repair with Gilboy’s beeswax cubes. Ordered them. Followed the video steps and the scratch is virtually GONE! Not to mention the packaging, personalized thank you card and beauty of the cubes themselves....I am blown away!!!! So happy I found them and glad to support such a wonderful company!

Used Rose Gold wax cube and polish to revive an old pine dining table that had been languishing in my mother's garage after being in the family for over 50 years. Very happy with the results and with the service provided. Simon Gilboy's detailed videos a great help. Highly recommend.

Received the wax cubes, have to say they are really good. Used then to cover up some big dings an a wardrobe. Covered up really well, i did follow,
one of the tutorials on YouTube. Worked a treat 😁

I made a Stereo Console out of real Cherrywood boards 3/4" stock, and it turned out beautiful, but with a current move to another home it was damaged by the movers. They were very careless, but the repair is coming along with the greatest products on the planet from Gilboy's of the United Kingdom, and I want to thank all of them for sharing their video on this type of repair. I would like to share pictures as well.

It was easy and fun to use and the chips in our flooring are practically invisble. The free sunflower seeds were also an unexpected bonus. Gilboy's seem like a thoughtful company with high standards - a pleasure to order from.

Followed a video on you tube, Had some second hand Ercol furniture from a charity shop. Cabinet needed polishing. The products did the job.
