Our beeswax furniture polish is made in the UK from the highest quality natural waxes to bring out the shine and protect your furniture:
We have developed our beeswax furniture polish to such a fine blend that you don't necessarily have to polish again for at least a year and possibly up to three years.
Environmental preservation is very important to us and we make every effort to ensure our products have a minimal impact on the environment:
Weekly furniture maintenance of removing dust can be done by simply using a slightly damp cloth and drying if needed with a clean dry cloth - beeswax polish will protect the surface for a very long time.
If you have a larger surface like the side of a chest of drawers or the top of a dining table apply the beeswax more evenly by dabbing the surface all over with small amounts of polish and then wipe in the direction of the grain to spread the wax evenly.
For carved relief areas such as an antique coffer, you can also apply beeswax furniture polish with a cheap 1 inch trimmed paint brush. It makes applying the beeswax much easier and allows the polish to get right into those dusty and hard to reach areas. Once dry, buff it with the soft shoe brush and buffing cloth.
Marvellous polish, my furniture has never looked so good.. I also enjoy and learn so much from the videos.
suddenly find myself wishing we had even more "brown furniture" than we already do . . . As it is, I'm using this on everything in sight, including the stair railings, shoe molding, and plantation shutters!
Excellent product, it very much worked as described
Excellent service from Gilboys and the wax is brilliant. The Sweet Pea seeds are a bonus!
I have used Gilboys polish for many years. It adds a wonderful shine and a real glow to my antique Georgian furniture collection. I have also used it on several antique Bronzes, and the polish helps to enhance the natural patina that bronzes acquire over a period of time. Gilboys polish is, without doubt, the best natural bees wax polish on the market.
With kind regards,
I have just used the Rose Gold wax on the table.
It’s easy to use,the wire wool really helps with spreading the wax to cover the wood. Building up to the colour we want slowly. Really pleased with the service and the presentation box with a pack of sweet peas and repair block is a nice thought.
Excellent flow out, easiest to apply of several alternatives currently used. Buffs more easily and to a far smoother sheen than any I have used or currently use. No tendency to ‘cake’ like candle wax residue that I have encountered with alternatives, just a thin even film to buff. Impressed. Several applications to an 1850 French oak, carved ‘gargoyle’ table base pedestals, untreated for many years, have brought back rich colour.
I had a long search for something all natural that works. Gilboys worked, and restored moisture, and at least 60-70% of original shine. It also revealed a brighter shade of the grains (more contrast) while previously it was old and flat dark. Also lightened up damage from some liquid emulsions (though not completely). I love the idea of supporting bees and will plant the pea seeds. Hope there will be cheaper shipping or Asia office would be cool (also recycling spots ...since i sending the empty jarss back would be too costly). Thanks!!
The polish went on really easily and although the bureau looked a bit neglected the polish brought up a lovely shine.
I used the Antique Gold kit on my Asian hardwood furniture which has faded badly. I was beginning to despair that I would have to sand everything down but luckily I found your kit. The results are very good and the furniture has the best shine it has had in a long time. The kit was packed beautifully. I am very pleased. Thank you.
