Type: beeswax polish
Our beeswax furniture polish provides the best protection for the finish of all woods. It is very easy to apply and a little polish goes a very long way because turpentine holds much more wax in suspension by volume than any petrochemical solvent.
We have developed our beeswax furniture polish to such a fine blend that you don't necessarily have to polish again for at least a year and possibly up to three years.
COLOUR MATCHINGOur commitment to preserving the natural beauty of your wooden furniture has led us to improve our beeswax polish formula by incorporating a UV absorber. This addition has been scientifically proven to significantly lessen the harmful effects of UV radiation from direct sunlight on wooden surfaces.
By integrating a UV absorber into our trusted beeswax polish formula, we provide additional protection that absorbs even more of the harmful UV rays before they can damage the wood or its finish. This advanced protection is especially crucial for pieces exposed to direct sunlight, helping to greatly reduce discolouration and extend the life of your furniture.
While it does not block all UV rays entirely, it acts as a crucial additional barrier, extending the life of your furniture and keeping its colour and finish vibrant.
Environmental preservation is very important to us and we make every effort to ensure our products have a minimal impact on the environment:
For carved relief areas such as an antique coffer, you can also apply beeswax furniture polish with a cheap 1 inch trimmed paint brush. It makes applying the beeswax much easier and allows the polish to get right into those dusty and hard to reach areas. Buff it 20 to 30 minutes later with the soft shoe brush and buffing cloth.
Fantastic product. Ordered a big tin after trying smaller jars. It’s great.
Top, top product. I can sense the passion invested in its production. Finest ingredients, best formulation and balance. A pleasure to apply and the results are stunning. Love all three waxes.
I use Gilboy's waxes on restorations and projects, including pieces of tremendous sentimental value to the owners, with consistently great results. The focus on customer service and genuine love for the product shines through. Add to this their use of natural products and visible commitment to sustainability and I can't recommend highly enough - great stuff.
I am so grateful for your tutorial, I have saved grand father chairs. The pale chair is the striped one and the 3 after naphta oil and wax. Very happy. Thank you Gilboys.
We want to thankyou Gilboy’s for creating such an incredible product we’ve watched many YouTube videos before purchasing and the trio of beeswax polish has been such a pleasure to use and really brought out the incredible grain in our restored vintage pieces. thankyou again you’ve got a loyal customer in us!
