By integrating a UV absorber into our trusted beeswax polish formula, we provide additional protection that absorbs even more of the harmful UV rays before they can damage the wood or its finish. This advanced protection is especially crucial for pieces exposed to direct sunlight, helping to greatly reduce discolouration and extend the life of your furniture.
While it does not block all UV rays entirely, it acts as a crucial additional barrier, extending the life of your furniture and keeping its colour and finish vibrant.
Environmental preservation is very important to us and we make every effort to ensure our products have a minimal impact on the environment:
Weekly furniture maintenance of removing dust can be done by simply using a slightly damp cloth and drying if needed with a clean dry cloth - beeswax polish will protect the surface for a very long time.
If you have a larger surface like the side of a chest of drawers or the top of a dining table apply the beeswax more evenly by dabbing the surface all over with small amounts of polish, then wipe in the direction of the grain to spread the wax evenly.
For carved relief areas such as an antique coffer, you can also apply beeswax furniture polish with a cheap 1 inch trimmed paint brush. It makes applying the beeswax much easier and allows the polish to get right into those dusty and hard to reach areas. Buff it when completely dry with a soft shoe brush and buffing cloth.
Customers praised this beeswax furniture polish for restoring wood's natural beauty, saying it "brought out the grain beautifully" and achieved "professional results." Most found it easy to apply with long-lasting shine. However, a few noted it required "a lot of elbow grease" for heavily sun-damaged pieces and may not fully restore severely bleached wood.
Bought to revive a Gplan nest of tables and two gplan base units I’ve inherited. My purchase was delivered very quickly and beautifully packaged with a personalised card thanking me for my purchase. There is even a sachet of sunflower seeds to plant to help the bees ! I’ve only used the product on 2 of the tables so far but I’m really pleased with the results. The beeswax has given the tables a lovely rich colour.

After watching teak coffee table U tube video twice I felt confident enough to tackle a 1960 s folding dining table that had belonged to my in-laws
My daughter had it but lent it to friends and it was in a sorry state. My son has just moved into a new flat and said he would like it and was happy for me to attempt to revive it
I've had a great few days going through the stages of restoration and realising quite early on that I was going to be successful
This morning I applied a coat of wax polish and after leaving it for half an hour buffed it up and felt quite emotional to see the dear old table restored. Not perfect but probably all the better for that.

I have used Gilboys hot wax and beeswax polish to renovate my late parents 50+years old g plan dining table and chairs( heavily marked and scratched). For literally decades I have been trying different waxes for my hand carved table. I have bought many different waxes, claiming to be "the best for antiques". Sadly none have lived up to their promise. Until I found Gilboys. I got the set of 3 different waxes for myself, as I have a lot of antique and other wooden furniture. I found the instruction videos by Gilboys really helpful. the kit came with steel wool, polishing cloth, waxes and cubes for repair of scratches. One challenge for me is the deep carving in the wood of this table, and finding the information to cut off a paintbrush was ideal for getting the wax properly distributed. I did a small area at a time, and the results were so fantastic I was raving to my family about what an amazing wax this is. I got a kit for my sister for her tables too after seeing the results. The table has not looked this good since it was first carved by a family friend in the 1960's. I have recommended these waxes to my family and friends.
So impressed with this polishing kit, everything was so easy to use and the results are beautiful.
I have an old teak sideboard that needed some tlc, it was extremely dull and flat before. It now has the most stunning shine, the surface is reflective like glass, I can't stop looking at it. The polish has brought life back to the teak and it smells divine. Cant recommend enough, thank you!!
Absolutely fabulous product . With great help from you Ytube video restoring a mid century dinning table was able to follow your steps . Issued the Rose gold wax and hard wax oil 2 coats of each . The table was in pretty bad shape but your products saved the day for my 1960 teak dinning table with 4 extensions.

I ordered this product after seeing the fantastic results on the YouTube channel “Escape to the Dream” about a family restoring their French chateau. The old, awful furniture they would buy at brocantes came out gorgeous so I thought, why not? I bought it for my cherry and darker furniture, but decided to try it first on my oak cabinet. It looks fantastic! Next project is the Cherry furniture, I promise!
Bought a charity shop teak sideboard and needed to restore it.

The kit arrived quickly and after sanding the only stuff we needed was in the box. Lovely finish and very rewarding process
I bought a G Plan Quadrille nest of tables in a charity shop. They had been used and abused and were in a very sorry state. I have no experience of restoring furniture. I came across the YouTube video and ordered the products. I set to work. The results are amazing! The tables look beautiful now, it's hard to believe they are the same ones. I'm just sorry I didn't think to take a 'before' photo.
I bought this having watched the fabulous mid century video. I started a small area and it made such a difference. If you have mid century furniture this is the best choice.
This was my first attempt to restore my G plan coffee tables to their full glory. I have now finished the first one and I am really pleased with how it looks even though I could not get the heat marks out, which spoils it a bit.
The products were easy to use and your tutorial was very helpful. The smell of the beeswax is the best bit. I now wast to Polish all my wooden furniture with it.
I will certainly be ordering more products in future.
Take time to do things the right way and use the right materials and you get a good result. Unfortunately, us amateurs invariably don’t! But Simon Gilboys products are superb, made for the job and fine quality. Use them in the way his videos show and you will get results far better than an amateur may ever hope for!!
I purchased a plain pine boot box. As it looked a bit grim and it stained easily I thought I’d wax & paint the top as it’s in the conservatory with plants on top.
Gilboys wax is excellent and turned a cheap box into a reasonably good looking, functional piece of furniture

I bought this because of the fantastic upcycling mid century furniture YouTube video you did. It was so helpful and being able to buy a product I knew was going to be good for a reasonable price was an extra reassurance that I wouldn’t ruin my furniture and I haven’t the results are amazing!!
