Walnut Lady’s Chair 1830-1840 English Walnut
Prior to restoration this chair was in a very poor state..
What was left of the upholstery was removed The entire chair was steamed apart & treated for woodworm Both rear legs have been replaced due to severe woodworm infestation.
The horse-shoe framework was re-constructed.
The show-wood areas were consolidated, striped of its remaining shellac finish.
The chair was then finished with button polish. Our upholsterer then traditionally finished the chair.
